Aaranca Creations, a young independent production house based out of Mumbai, has recently announced the launch of its first film, Yeh Khula Aasman in Hindi. Movie is written and directed by Gitanjali Sinha who has been in media industry since childhood. The film is inspired from a true story about the resilience of human spirit and how it prevails over life's challenges if family support systems are in place, says Sinha. To be shot in Mumbai and on parts of Northern Bihar, the film is expected to go on floors by mid-October & is expected to screen around mid-January, next year.
Famous music directors Anand-Milind have been roped in to compose the melodious music that the audience has been deprived of for last few years. Veteran character actor Raghuveer Yadav has put his best voice on the tunes of melodious composer duo Anand-Milind which has been the icing on the cake. The other singers who have put their voice to make the compositions more delightful are Alka Yagnik, Javeed Ali & Swapnil Bandodkar.
Anand-Milind, is believed to have produced scintillating scores for this project and feels that this project ranks amongst their best compositions. “We have already recorded four songs and will launch the music soon,” said Sinha. The producer Hemendra Aran is B.Tech. from IIT Madras and M.B.A from London Business School and founder and CEO of reputed KPO firm, Aaranca. Amongst other members of the production crew includes, Ajit Dandekar - Renowned Art Director, Ullhas Shewde - Veteran Executive Producer & Saurabh Saxena - Cameraman.

AM: Five tracks, with good poetry, good music. We have given melodious music.
GG: Tell us something about the album?
AM: One song is the title track, picturised on a Kite competition sung by Raghubirji, second is lorie sung by Suresh Wadekar. Third is a philosophical song of life sung by Kunal Ganjawala. This song is related to the story. The rest two are romantic tracks.
GG: Who are the other singers?
AM: Alka Yagnik, Soham, Bela Shinde, Amay Daate.
GG: Did you face any problems in giving music in film with different subject?
AM: No, we enjoyed composing music. Secondly music differs according to subject.
GG: What is the USP of the album?
AM: We have given such music that will grow. The more you hear, more you will enjoy.
GG: You have given music in lots of films, which is your favorite?
AM: ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ as it was first hit album of our career.
GG: Who are your favorite singers?
AM: Mohammad Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar.
GG: What is your take on reality shows?
AM: In reality shows we get many talented singers. They get huge platform through the show. Such shows benefit them. They come from no where but at least they earn something doing stage shows and albums after the reality show is over.
Raghuveer Yadav - Singing In Tune of Anand-Milind
30th October, 2009: Yeh Khula Aasman, the first film of independent production house, Aaranca Creations, has gone on floors on October 30 in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The Muhurat shot featured veteran character actor Raghuvir Yadav, who plays a key role in the film.
The film marks the return of Raghuvir Yadav to the silver screen, with one of his meatiest of roles in the recent times. “The moment I heard the script and my role, I knew I wanted to do it,” said Yadav.
Yeh Khula Aasman also marks the return of music directors duo Anand-Milind after a brief hiatus. In a recent interview, they portrayed their work in this film as the return of melodious era in Hindi Cinema.
A young but talented new lead pair, Raj Tandon and Aanya Anand, are being launched in this film.
Taking time out from in-between shooting, Writer-Director Gitanjali Sinha said, “Yeh Khula Aasman is shaping exactly as I had envisioned it. We are lucky to have such a talented cast and crew. I am sure this film will be worth every minute for the audience.” She added, “People will remember the music of Yeh Khula Aasman for long time to come.”
The movie is being shot on various locations in Bhagalpur and is expected to be released in August 2011.
